I am thinking of attending college in Alabama. However I am not from there. Need info, read details for my Q

I am thinking of attending college in Alabama. However I am not from there. Need info, read details for my Q?
I am thinking of Alabama St., Jacksonville St., Troy, and South Alabama (mobile). Is there any one that stands out, or one that I should avoid? Any little info is great. Thanx a lot everyone!

Im not aware of any problems at these schools, and they are all in very friendly small town areas.
