14 hours later and still no answer. Probably because you asked this in the "Gambling" section. Try re-posting this question elsewhere. (You might also be more specific in your question. It's really hard to understand what you're talking about.)

the auburn vs. alabama rivalry is the biggest in college football

the auburn vs. alabama rivalry is the biggest in college football?
and dont say michigan and osu because it's not. I live in alabama and can tell you that 365 days a year it's pretty much all about the rivalry. In the state of alabama auburn and alabama fans divorce, shoot, threaten each other and make businus deals on the game. Auburn and Alabama fans have to live with each other every day. OSU and michigan fans dont. Alabama holds a 38-32-1 lead in the ironbowl series. bullsh*t nairb, the Auburn vs. Alabama game is far better than the gay osu and michigan game that michigan dominates anyway

Answer 1 :
its not even close to michigan and osu
Answer 2 :
Unfortunately as far as national rivalries go Michigan and OHU get a lot of attention because they have been on TV for so long. Plus the winner of that game used to be the one going to the Rose Bowl. It depends where you live to the importance of the rivalry. I grew up in South Carolina and the big game every year was Clemson vs South Carolina. It is state law that these two teams must play each other every year. There was an article in Sports Illustrated calling it the most under rated rivalry in college football. In school there were fights over this game every year. Also, there was a shooting last year because of the game. But I have been in Alabama during the week of the big game. It is a very exciting. That is all the radio stations and everyone is talking about. It is definitely one of the best rivalries in football.
Answer 3 :
H*** yeah Brock, bama and auburn is the biggest rivalry in all of sports, i live in alabama too and am a bama fan so i love this game, i cant wait for it every year ROLL TIDE ROLL
Answer 4 :
There is no comparison..Ohio State and The team from up North(aka Michigan)will be..always has been..and always will be the biggest rival game in NCAA football.
Answer 5 :
If you take a step back and look at it, the last few years, the Michigan vs. Ohio State game has been the biggest rivalry in college football. The reason is because the game has decided the Big Ten Champion and possibly who is going to the National Championship. My wife went to college in Lagrange Georgia about 30 minutes from Auburn and I was able to go to an Auburn vs. Bama game and was impressed with all of the emotion. I lived in Michigan for 3 years and also got to go to a Michigan vs. Ohio State game. I will tell you the emotion is just as strong and there were 110,000 people in the stands. Have you ever heard 110,000 fans screaming at the top of their lungs? I agree with you that it is different because your game has rivals from the same state but I think the importance of the outcome of the game has something to do with whether it is the biggest rivalry in the country. Now that Saban is at Bama, the stakes have definitely been raised and the national attention will definitely intensify. If Bama can become perennial contenders for the national title like Auburn has become then I will give the Bama vs. Auburn game my vote. If not, I have to give the nod to Michigan vs. Ohio State.
Answer 6 :
I LIVE IN OHIO AND I AM A BIG OHIO STATE FAN. THE OSU MICHIGAN RIVALRY WAS VOTED ON BY MANY PEOPLE IN THE SPORTS MEDIA FROM ESPN AND OTHER OUTLETS AS THE BIGGEST RIVALRY IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL. THAT'S NOT TO TAKE ANYTHING AWAY FROM THE AUBURN VS. BAMA GAME. I THINK ALOT OF IT IS IN REGARDS TO WHERE YOU LIVE, OUR MEDIA COVERAGE IN OHIO AND MICHIGAN DRUM THAT GAME INTO THE RESIDENTS MUCH LIKE FLORIDA VS. FLORIDA STATE, USC VS. UCLA AND SO ON AND SO FORTH. I THINK THIS GAME IS VOTED THE BEST RIVALRY BECAUSE 1. IT'S ALWAYS THE LAST GAME OF THE SEASON FOR EACH TEAM ASIDE FROM THE BOWL GAME 2. THE BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP IS ALMOST ALWAYS ON THE LINE 3. THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IS USUALLY ON THE LINE ALSO. MUCH RESPECT TO THE AUBURN TIGERS AND THE BAMA TIDE BUT TRUTHFULLY THE OSU MICH GAME IS THE GAME THAT MOST OF THE NATION TUNES IN FOR ON THE 3RD SAT OF EVERY NOV.
Answer 7 :
I think that it definitely depends on where you live and who you root for, but I would say that overall, nationally, and traditionally, the OSU vs Michigan rivalry is The Rivalry in college football. I would also think that the fact that you have to live with your rival on a daily basis would kind of decrease the hatred since you must get along in order to work together. Whereas if you're separated by a stateline, your hatred of the other team can fuel all year round and you're surrounded by people that hate the other team as well so, there is no seeing the viewpoint of the other fans/team. You just irrationally hate them.
Answer 8 :
army and navy is the biggest
Answer 9 :
I was going to go on this long spiel about 'The GAME' but everyone else has already taken care of that for me. The army-boat boy game deserves some credit too (Go Army!!! Beat Navy!!!) The Auburn-Alabama game is HUGE... in Alabama where there is nothing else to do anyway. So if you were to ask if it were the most intense rivalry I would agree. But no way is it the biggest. Wolverines-Buckeyes is the biggest rivalry in sports. Go Michigan State Spartans!!! 2007 NCAA BCS Champions of the World!!! lol
Answer 10 :
It depends on where you live and your experience in life. Personally, the greatest rivalry isn't even between schools, but institutions. West Point and Annapolis. The Army-Navy games, although pretty lousy lately, have more emotion and pride in them than any other college FB game going. Plus You get to relive results forever when in combat, maneuvers, etc. AND you were there when it really happened.
Answer 11 :
im unbiased ... i dont live in SEC or Big 10 country .... and i dont believe you can say Michigan v. Ohio St or Alabama v. Auburn is bigger than the other. they are BOTH incredible rivalries that belong in the top 5 list of rivalries no questions asked. if i had to decide, id say the Iron Bowl is a touch bigger, but its close either way. Army v. Navy is out because before and after the game they are buddies. that doesnt float according to rivalry laws. im not sure if its mentioned ..... but ive seen it mentioned in this convo before ..... USC v. UCLA isnt in the top 50 of top rivalries ..... there are 5 rivalries in the Pac 10 bigger then that game, the other 4 traditional rivalries and Washington v. Oregon (they absolutely HATE eachother). USC v. UCLA is a joke.
Answer 12 :
Poke your head out of your outhouse and realize that no one but the people in Alabama give a sh*t about that game. It never has Nat'l Title implications It's never on nat'l TV Most non-southerners would rather be forced to watch the OSU/Michigan game than that one. No one outside of Alabama can name three starters on either team

Answer 1 :
If you can afford it, I would say UA. Bigger schools look better on a resume, but Valdosta is a nice second choice. It also depends on your choice of study. If you want to go into business or law, UA is where you should attend.
