Answer 1 :
If it's in the MSAR it's accredited and it's a worthwhile school. Every single US med school is hard to get into. If you really want to be a physician you'll take anything you can get(as long as it's accredited). UniBound is spam.
Answer 2 :
It is just fine - getting into any med school anywhere is so competitive that you should jump on this offer if it comes through.
Answer 3 :
Here's what the South Alabama University web page says about their admissions into the college of medicine. http://www.southalabama.edu/bulletin/admissions.htm It took me sometime to find these links, but after a few minutes I was able to do it. Here are two links from UAB's web page that will help you with your question http://medicine.uab.edu/education/prospective/46067/ http://medicine.uab.edu/education/prospective/46067/requirements/ You can decide which one is better and harder to get accepted into. Blessings
Answer 4 :
Research the background of the professors and the college itself. See what the research and medical part has been doing to advance the field. Go to the campus, talk to students - get a feel for it. A college education is what you make of it, not the other way around. Also, while rankings are great for a starting point in college searches, they are not the end-all. Rankings can be manipulated by colleges and universities using different methods. For example, some people perceive that a more expensive tuition cost equates to a "better" school, then more students apply, and the college can reject more students, raising their rankings and becoming more "competitive" on the rankings. Bottom line: regardless of rankings, if this school has great teachers, great research, great opportunities, and you can afford it (a plus!) then don't let rankings rule the day!
Answer 5 :
UAB School of Medicine has two very helpful documents on their web iste entitled: 'Assessing My Competitiveness for Acceptance to Medical School' and 'Factors Considered by the Admissions Committee.' These documents can be found on their web page here: http://medicine.uab.edu/education/prospective/46067/requirements

Well, Skippy, sounds like you've got the beer and broads figured out..good criteria for college. How about which has the better curriculum?
Answer 2 :
I'm a South Alabama alum. It's not a bad town. Most bars downtown are open all night. The beach isn't far away either. I would recommend it if your focus will be in Allied Health or Business as both programs are accredited.
Answer 3 :
Go to the Island University - Tamucc!! It's a great place and come on.. Texas A&M looks great on a resume. I graduated from there and my husband works there. Cool place.
Answer 4 :
Use your head, go to the school that has the least of these things. You'll have a much better chance of graduating.
Answer 5 :
go to college in atlanta ga . you would love it
Answer 6 :
If I were you, I would definitely go to South Alabama. I plan to go to grad. school there. I wish I would have went to undergrad school there. The school is not too big, but not too small. The school is well known for its health programs. The city of Mobile is a great place to be. It has enough entertainment for a college student! Close to the beach and always something good to eat. When I'm visiting in Mobile, I always see young people and "good looking females" out late at night, dressed up, like their going somewhere. So I guess they do party well.
Answer 7 :
Check out Corpus Christi... smaller city, but very near South Padre Island Beach... great place to go!

I'm 20 years old, male college student and I wnat to invest in real estate! Anyone in Alabama want to help me?
I'm really interested in real estate but I lack the funds and really have no credit. Any tips? I can manage the projects well, and keep it on the inexpensive side. I'm in Alabama and need help!

Answer 1 :
It will be tough without funds but it is possible. A real estate investor showed me the strategy but its too complicated and slows down the process of selling property/homes. And its best to have a personal connect on foreclosure and government seized homes. But it could be done you just need the right strategy and probaly a real estate investor as a mentor.
Answer 2 :
you have no practical experience or any money of your own to put into the arrangement... sorry, i am out of checks in my checkbook

While in Tuscaloosa for the game, you will want to visit the Bryant Museum, a museum dedicated to Alabama football, and of course Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant. (Are you from Western Carolina by the way?) Also on campus is the Alabama Natural History Museum (it's free). Check out the Quad in the center of campus for pregame tailgating. Also, most folks who visit go the Dreamland BBQ, a southern tradition, though Archibald's is better. South of Tuscaloosa is Moundville, a state park dedicated to the Native Americans who built fairly well defined mounds in the area.
