If they keep recruiting like they did this year, 3 more years. I say 3 because it allows there recruits to develop and it will allow for some of the SEC powerhouse players to leave for the NFL.

When they move to the Sunbelt Conference. War Eagle! Gary: We're on our 4th, yes 4th def. coord. since 2004 and we've had top 10 defenses since. Last year we ended 6th nationaly in defense and Pitt was 5th. Ohh, I forgot our new defensive co. came from Pitt. So how did Gene Cheznick work out for ya at texas? Ohh, he left didn't he. Sorry. Look forward to not even competed in the little 12 this year. You don't know sh*t about SEC football.

Answer 9 :
If ur a Bama fan, don't listen to these haters...Look...I'm a Longhorns fan, so I don't know everything there is to know about the Bama program...but...Saban's working on re-building...he's got a track record of transforming underachievers into good teams eg. Toledo, Michigan State, LSU etc...he's a heck of a recuiter and he's got an excellent class this time...building up a program takes time...it's just the way it is...the only way to build a program quickly is to cheat...and then u get NCAA sanctions...and your program collapses...Saban needs to cut out the dead-wood...i heard Bama has had a bunch of discipline problems with players being arrested and suspended...so it's takes time before the players Saban recruits become starters...i would say that by the time this years' recruiting class become seniors...so i'd say in 3-4 years Bama could be National Championship material...in the meantime, I still think Bama will be competitive but Saban has to use the players he inherited from the previous coach Edit: Now now Chuck calm down...i know it must be frustrating supporting an also-ran like auburn! Muschamp has been DC at Auburn for 2 years...and yeah Chizik but only because he was offered the HC position at Iowa state...but it's ok, coz now we're getting the best DC in NCAA Football...Oh and if Auburn was so high and mighty do you think Muschamp would have left Auburn to join Texas?? Huh? Answer that one!
